The fully automated Q-Robot takes representative samples from incoming bulk material loads quickly, safely and consistently. The system is suitable for a wide range of solid and granular materials, including biomass, wood chips, ores, mineral concentrates and other industrial raw materials.
Representative sampling reduces uncertainty in quality determination and provides a more reliable basis for commercial, operational and process decisions. In biomass applications, customers have achieved 2–8% lower error in power plant efficiency calculations.
Sampling provides online moisture and load volume data, calculated moisture content and calculated energy content data. The quality data can be used, for example, to direct the load to the desired unloading location or to check loads that do not meet the quality criteria.

The client will receive a proposal for measures to improve the efficiency of sampling, which can be used, for example, when tendering for service providers.
